Aloe Vera Gel
Inexpensive, All Natural Skincare Products for Achieving Beautiful Skin
It is a fact that some people are just genetically blessed to have beautiful skin. Some people are not. Some people work at achieving/maintaining beautiful skin. Some people do not. This post is specifically for the latter who, in the past, have made little to no effort to make their skin (more) attractive.
It is exclusively for those within this group who are now willing to invest some time and energy into achieving beautiful skin. Here’s an all natural and inexpensive way for you to get started. Ready?
Visit your local health food store and dollar store and purchase the following items:
- Alpha Hydroxy Acid Cleanser for under $20: (I use Rachel Perry’s Tangerine Dream Foaming Facial Cleanser.)
- Astringent/Toner for under $10: Purchase a bottle of Witch Hazel Astringent (if you have oily, blemish/acne prone skin) or Witch Hazel Toner. (I use Thayer’s Natural Remedies.)
- Cotton Face Pads for $1: Purchase these from the dollar store! The square pads work better than the cotton balls for cleansing your skin.
- Moisturizer for under $11: Purchase a bottle of Jojoba Oil. You only need to use a little. It won’t clog your pore because it’s a plant oil that mimics the oil in your skin. (I use Dessert Essence.)
- Sunscreen for under $11: Aloe Vera Gel and Shea Butter both work as natural sunscreens or purchase a sun shield separately. (I use Lily of the Dessert Aloe Vera Gelly and I purchase my shea butter from the (African) venders who sell it raw. Mostly, I use Mychelle’s Sun Shield or sunscreen, not sun block which doesn’t protect your skin as much, along with many of her other products).
- Minimizing Blemish/Acne Outbreaks with an alpha hydroxy acid moisturizer for under $20: If you’re washing your face and neck day and night with the alpha hydroxy acid cleanser you should experience a noticeable reduction in skin eruptions. When you do have a problem immediately wash the affected area and rub Jojoba Oil and your alpha hydroxy acids moisturizer into your skin. Of course you can use the moisturizer daily with your Jojoba Oil. (I use Jason’s New Cell Therapy 12½ Plus Moisturizing Oil-Free Gel.)
- Clearing Blemish/Acne Marks for under $10: Purchase a 100% Cocoa Butter Stick from the dollar store or Walmart. Gently rub the cocoa butter into your mark/scar as often as possible and it should significantly or totally clear in 30 days. (I use Cococare.) If you’re afraid the 100% coco butter will clog your pores, which it shouldn’t, use (Sweet) Orange aromatherapy oil. It’s a plant oil that won’t clog your pores. (I use different brands.) Or use both together to clear your skin!
All of the above inexpensive, all natural skincare products will definitely help you achieve beautiful skin, if used daily or regularly, without bankrupting you.
