Internet Service Savings: AT&T, Comcast or Clear WiMAX?

Ok, by now you’ve all heard of the new company on the block that’s providing fast speed Internet service.  Even if coverage doesn’t yet include your block you’ve heard of Clear WiMAX.  Well, this post is about, what else, how to save money using Clear WiMAX.

More specifically, this post is about how to save money using the Clear WiMAX Internet modem.  You see, the great thing about the Clear WiMAX modem is that other than having coverage in your area, you only need an electrical outlet in order to access the Internet.  You plug your computer into the modem and you plug the modem into an outlet and you’re good to go!  There’s no need for a telephone or cable jack!

There’s also no need for using any discs or waiting on any technicians in order to start your Internet service.  You can literally be on the Internet in less than 10 minutes.  And this includes the time spent logging into your new Clear account.

Now, how you can save money by using Clear WiMAX Internet service versus AT&T, Comcast, and any other Internet service provider is like this:

1. If you have a laptop you won’t need to purchase a mobile card because the WiMAX modem is mobile!!  That is, the modem is convenient enough in size and weight for you to actually bring it with you where ever you go.  Thus, it can serve as your mobile Internet card, provided you have access to an electrical outlet and, again, there’s Clear coverage in the area you visit.  How cool is that?!
2. If you don’t have a computer and you’re going some place to use a computer that does not have Internet service or has limited Internet accessibility you can literally bring your own Internet service with you by bringing the WiMAX modem.  Again, all you have to do is be in an area where Clear service is provided and be near an electrical outlet and in no time at all you can access the Internet.

So, basically the Clear WiMAX modem is like a large mobile Internet card that you can use for both a laptop and a desktop.  This can add up to a lot of savings on Internet service for the thrifty and creative person!
